Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Repairs Manager to oversee and coordinate repair operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both power and hand tools. This role requires the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring that all repairs are conducted efficiently and to the highest standards. The Repairs Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment functionality and safety across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily repair activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve repair issues effectively. Train and mentor team members on the proper use of power tools and hand tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all repair operations. Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and time spent on each task. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication. Manage inventory of tools and spare parts, ensuring availability for repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as required. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership abilities, capable of managing a diverse team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 33,090.00-36,431.00 per year
