The Role
We are looking for a qualified MOT Tester/Vehicle Technician with at least 4 years' experience who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard. You'll work independently on jobs, perform MOTs, servicing, repairs, and support the front office when required, all while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop.
Essential Skills
DVSA approved MOT Tester
Level 3 in Automotive Vehicle Servicing & Repair (or equivalent)
Strong mechanical knowledge and proven diagnostic ability
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Capable of heavy lifting and working independently
Valid driving licence

Key Responsibilities
Conduct vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs to a high standard
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Perform MOT tests and record results accurately
Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work
Carry out road tests to confirm repairs
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop
Provide excellent customer service and support front office as needed
Occasionally supervise the workshop in the absence of senior staff
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Keep accurate records and complete admin tasks on time
