Hours:

36 hours per week with one night per week on call and a share of the weekend on call rota

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency-trained anaesthetist to join our amazing team on a 1-year fixed term contract from mid December 2025 with a likely possibility to extend to a permanent contract.

We are a friendly, collaborative and experienced anaesthesia team consisting of 3 anaesthetists (2 ECVAA diplomates and 1 residency trained board eligible anaesthetists) and one VTS anaesthesia nurse.

State-of-the-art facilities

- Imaging includes digital radiography, fluoroscopy (C-arm with subtraction and road-mapping), ultrasonography and a high-field 1.5T MRI and CT. Inpatients are supported 24/7 by dedicated RVNs and veterinary interns. Work closely with other referral centres in our group to facilitate clinical research and access to shared expertise. Accessible location - An easy commute from Chester, Liverpool, North Wales and Manchester, with excellent transport links, airports, and access to beautiful national parks, forests, and mountains.

What we're looking for



Eligible to work in the UK and MRCVS Ideally ECVAA or ACVAA Diplomate or board eligible candidate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
