Dispensary Administrator - Fixed Term Contract - part time (Monday to Friday) - 20 hours per week - to start ASAP until 6th January 2026

Towcester Vets have been caring for the animals of Towcester and the surrounding areas for over a century - we pride ourselves on our customer service and the professional but personal veterinary service we offer.

We are now looking for an organized and self-motivated individual to take responsibility for our veterinary dispensary, based at our Towcester branch.

Responsibilities within the role will include:

Ordering stock and maintaining supplies in Dispensary, Reception and Prep areas

Stock rotation and date management

Dealing with suppliers for stock management, new drugs, savings costs where possible

Regular stock checking and record keeping

Ordering and dispensing all client's orders and calling clients when orders are available

Keeping our Client Management System updated with stock prices, cost codes, new items

Administrative tasks associated with the smooth running of dispensary

And you will need to have the following skills and experience:

Previous dispensary or veterinary knowledge and experience

Attention to detail and good numerical skills

Exemplary communication skills as there will be much liaison with our other clinics as well as clients

Ability to organise and manage own workload

Previous administration experience including IT skills

This is a fixed term part time position working 20 hours per week over 4 days.
