We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Physiotherapist to join our Veterinary Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation team. You'll be responsible for your own caseload and help keep our veterinary physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services running smoothly day-to-day. You'll support and mentor colleagues, coordinate caseloads, and make sure every patient receives outstanding, evidence-based care.

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. There is not out of hours or bank holiday work.

Up to 40k DOE

Key responsibilities:



Clinical responsibilities:

Manage your own caseload, delivering inpatient and outpatient veterinary physiotherapy and hydrotherapy Perform physiotherapeutic assessments to create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate closely with Neurology, Orthopaedic, Pain Clinic and Primary Care teams Attend ward rounds to liaise with veterinary surgeons, organising coherent physiotherapy care plans where appropriate Attend CPD and training opportunities in agreement with the Clinical Director Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records. Service quality and development:

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing ideas for optimising patient care and client experience Support onboarding and training of new team members Assist with the marketing the services of the Hospital through producing information for the website, providing material for Facebook stories and other marketing material such as newsletters for clients and articles for local papers Contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and assist with diligence to Health and Safety measures

Key skills and requirements:



BSc (Hons), MSc or PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy Member of professional body (e.g. ACPAT, NAVP, IRVAP) and/or registered with professional register (e.g. RAMP, AHPR) At least two years' experience in small animal veterinary physiotherapy Experience working with in a small-animal referral setting is desirable Hydrotherapy experience with the use of an Underwater Treadmill is desirable A natural communicator who leads with empathy and compassion.
