We are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team at Animal House Vets.As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.

What does the role involve?

Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the clinic Answer phone calls and schedule appointments Check-in patients and verify their information Update patient records and ensure accuracy of information Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Maintain cleanliness of reception area and exam rooms

About the rota

This is a full-time role working 39.75 hours per week. This will either be spread over 5 days or as 4 longer days, these hours will also include working 1 in 4 Saturdays. The shifts could be at any of our 4 branches so someone who drives and has their own car would be preferred.

Our ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks, and a minimum of three GCSEs grade 4/C or above.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written , strong organisational skills and attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment , proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience in customer service and administrative tasks.
