Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to join our front-of-house team at our Hawkedon surgery. You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public both on the telephone and in person, demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice.

More about you

Successful candidates will be approachable, courteous, have good organisational skills, an excellent telephone manner and problem-solving abilities. You will be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently, with the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience within the veterinary industry is ideal but not essential.

Your shift pattern

This is part time role, working 30 hours over a 5-day week, 8 am - 2 pm. You would also be required to participate in a Saturday morning rota for our Homefield Road branch in Haverhill 8:30 am - 2 pm. This is a fixed term contract until October 2026.
