We are seeking a compassionate and organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while supporting the veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This position requires a friendly disposition, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Process payments and handle billing enquiries with professionalism including cash handling.
Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as required.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
Provide information on preventative care and wellness programmes to pet owners.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour.

T: 2-7pm
W: 9-1pm
T: 9-1pm
F: 1-7pm
