We are seeking a friendly and organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties



Greeting clients warmly upon arrival and managing appointment scheduling efficiently Answering phone calls, responding to enquiries, and providing accurate information about services Managing client records accurately and updating patient information in the database Handling administrative tasks such as invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining filing systems Assisting with laboratory tasks when required, including sample processing and record keeping Organising the clinic's daily schedule to optimise client flow and staff efficiency Supporting veterinary staff with basic administrative duties as needed Ensuring the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies

Experience



Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable, providing familiarity with clinical procedures and terminology Laboratory experience is a valuable asset, particularly in sample handling and record management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly demeanour Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, record keeping, and billing purposes
