Hay Vets have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated person to join their busy reception team. You'll be the friendly face and reassuring voice that welcomes clients to the practice, supports them during their visit, and helps them access the care their pets need. Working at the heart of a busy hospital team, your role will be varied and rewarding--no two days are the same.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;




Greeting and checking in clients with professionalism and warmth Handling a high volume of phone and email enquiries Booking appointments and procedures accurately Taking payments and processing insurance claims Supporting clinical teams with day-to-day coordination Keeping the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming

Great communication skills both written and, on the phone, A desire to provide excellent customer care Good IT, numeracy and literacy Previous experience in a Veterinary environment is highly desirable A keen eye for detail and strong admin skills Flexible and approachable nature

About the rota




This is a part-time role covering 20 hours per week. You will cover a variety of shifts across Monday - Saturday.
