Veterinary Receptionist Full time Mon-Fri (43hrs) or two part time positions are a consideration for the right candidates

Hawthorn Vets is a forward thinking, proudly independent and local business in West Sussex. Due to expansion, we're looking for a friendly and outgoing person to join our welcoming team. Excellent communication skills are a must as is an appreciation for our 4 legged clientele! The position represents an excellent opportunity to undertake an interesting and varied customer facing role in a family run business. Some prior experience in a customer facing role is preferred as are reasonable IT skills. The role is primarily based at our practice in Henfield, but there may be some shifts at our Partridge Green practice or our new practice in Hassocks which is opening in July. The position is full time, but we would consider splitting the role into two part-time positions for the right candidates. There is some flexibility on shifts, which start from 8am and finish upto 7pm. Additionally there is a Saturday rota consisting of 1 in 6 Saturdays from 8.30-3pm (paid as overtime or taken as Time in Lieu). Salary 12.80 per hour. 5 weeks holiday + pro rata bank holiday allowance (one week MORE than the minimum requirement).
