About us:




Kinfauns Veterinary Centre is a newly renovated, well-equipped and well-established, RCVS accredited practice, with two busy branches: Little Clacton and Dovercourt. We are known for delivering excellent veterinary care and offer a family-friendly service.


Our main branch at Little Clacton has impressive facilities, including on-site lab, x-ray machine, ultrasound, two theatres and separate cat and dog wards. We also have our own dental suite including dental x-ray. Dovercourt, our smaller branch with close ties to the community, is just 20 minutes away from the main branch so easily accessible.


The practice has achieved a 2Outstanding award in the prestigious Best Companies Awards 2024. This recognition is a testament to the positive feedback from our dedicated team, highlighting our commitment to fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment.

The Role:



Salary - 40,000 - 60,00 pro rata, depending on experience No OOH's Full-time or part-time - we are open to discussing options A full-time role includes working 4/5 days a week and 1 in 3 Saturdays Some flexibility with rota/hours 1 or more operation days per week Minimum 15-minute consults, longer ones can be scheduled


This role can be based solely at our busy Dovercourt Branch for part-time applicants or at our main site at Little Clacton, with some branch work for full-time applicants.


We're happy to look at all options for the right candidate who would also be supported in pursuing a certificate.

You would be joining a fantastic full-time team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Nurses, Animal care assistants, and Receptionists.

Clacton is a bustling seaside town, in Essex, surrounded by beautiful villages, local amenities such as restaurants and shops, and with a beautiful beach front.

Along with plenty to do and see, Clacton is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Colchester, at only 20 minutes away. You can get a regular train connection to London in around 1.5hrs.


Dovercourt also boasts plenty of things to enjoy in your downtime including beautiful seafront walks and an array of water sports.
