Gain Grounds is looking for a creative and versatile

Video Editor/Graphic Designer

to join our team for an exciting digital-first project, Hidden Talent - a show celebrating real people, powerful stories, and authentic performances.

This role is ideal for someone who can blend

dynamic short-form video editing

with

engaging visual design

for social media content. You'll be responsible for editing raw footage into captivating videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, while also creating graphics, overlays, thumbnails, and social assets that elevate the project's visual storytelling.

Responsibilities



Edit high-quality short-form videos optimised for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) Design engaging visual assets including motion graphics, lower thirds, thumbnails, and promotional graphics Collaborate with producers, videographers, and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive visual style Add captions, music, transitions, and branded graphic elements to enhance storytelling Maintain a consistent editing and design style aligned with the project's emotional, authentic tone Manage and prioritise multiple edits and design tasks on a weekly basis Optimise content for maximum engagement across different social media platforms Ensure fast turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards

Skills and Requirements



Strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools Proficient in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or Canva) Good understanding of social media trends and what performs well on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts Experience creating basic motion graphics, animated text, and branded assets Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Detail-oriented with a strong creative eye for both video and graphic design Excellent communication and collaborative skills London-based preferred (hybrid role)
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: From 16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in United Kingdom, W1T 6EB

Expected start date: 01/05/2025
