Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the technical skills necessary to bring projects to life. You will work closely with our production team to edit and produce high-quality video content that drives engagement for our clients.

Duties

Edit raw footage into polished video content, ensuring a cohesive narrative flow. Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and vision. Select and incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and other elements to enhance the final product. Review and revise edits based on feedback from team members or clients. Maintain an organised library of video assets for easy retrieval. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve editing skills.

Requirements

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop and After Effects. Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for visual composition and storytelling. Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Previous experience in video editing - professional or ortherwise. A portfolio showcasing your own work is essential.

Pay: 24,000.00-31,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
