## Job Overview

We're looking for a talented Videographer and Editor to join our Creative team. Working with Sent Into Space is an opportunity to do something truly unique. You'll get to travel internationally and nationally, work on artistic and commercial projects for globally recognised clients and marketing agencies, take part in launching stratospheric balloons to the edge of space, and join a talented, hardworking and friendly team of engineers, creatives and business professionals.

Important traits required for this role include; flexibility to create work within multiple creative disciplines, strong organisational skills, a drive to learn, positive and clear communication and a strong drive to do your best work at all times.

You'll be reporting to the Head of Creative Matt Lanning and working closely with the rest of the Creative department.

## Duties

- Film and edit videos for various projects, including promotional videos, behind-the-scenes and interviews. Typically documentary-style content

- Edit RAW footage into distribution ready content, creating engaging visual content that aligns with internal/client brand guidelines

- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets objectives

- Optimise footage using post-production techniques such as colour correction and sound design

- Setup, control and operate camera, lighting and audio equipment

- Organise and maintain camera, lighting and audio hardware

- Developing concepts and storyboards with the wider team

- Balance multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines

- Manage video files and maintain an organised archive of footage

- Create and incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to enhance videos

## Requirements

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Davinci Resolve

- Experience in 2D and 3D animation/modelling/rendering

- Strong understanding of videography techniques and principles

- Operational experience using professional camera, lens, lighting and audio hardware

- Experience in photography is a plus

- Drone pilot qualification or drone flying experience is a bonus

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

- A portfolio that includes documentary-style filming as well as more cinematic work

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
