Videography Apprentice.
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated Videography Apprentice to join our in-house content team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to gain hands-on experience in fashion video production, working closely with our Lead Videographer to produce content for social media, advertising, and retail screens.
The ideal candidate will have a background in videography, editing, or fashion media, and a strong interest in menswear and content creation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and storyboarding creative video shoots
Operate cameras, gimbals, lighting, and sound equipment on set and in-studio
Edit video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Prepare visuals for in-store screens and promotional campaigns
Organise and manage footage, project files, and backups
Create short-form edits, behind-the-scenes content, and fashion campaign reels
Contribute ideas to creative meetings and concept development
Learn and adapt House of Cavani's brand tone, visual language, and style
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams when required
Required Skills and Qualities
A relevant qualification or experience in video production, editing, film, or fashion media
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (and optionally After Effects)
Understanding of basic camera operation, lighting setups, and composition
A strong interest in fashion and storytelling through visual content
Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute creatively
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail
Desirable (But Not Essential)
Familiarity with Adobe After effects to enhance basic video with intricate animations and effects.
Experience with TikTok/Reels editing styles
Knowledge of DSLR/mirrorless cameras (e.g. Sony, Canon) and the use of picture profiles such as S-LOG 3.
Interest in fashion styling or trend research
Experience flying a drone to capture stunning and unique footage.
Entry requirements
Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above

Training to be provided
You will be undertaking a Level 3 Production Assistant Apprenticeship with Creative Alliance.
This apprenticeship combines both on-the-job and off-the-job training delivered by the award-winning, creative specialist provider, Creative Alliance.
Throughout the course, you will gain hands-on experience and learn about:
The video industry landscape
Genre and idea creation
Responding effectively to briefs
Preparing and pitching concepts
Working within a media team and participating in pre-production
Managing relationships with talent, contributors, and suppliers
Budgeting essentials
Technical skills and communication during shoots
Editing and post-production workflows
