Violin teacher needed one day a week for approx 6 hours in 2 schools in the same village.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team of instrumental and vocal teachers. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
We are a music cooperative supported by an excellent Admin Team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the varying abilities of students.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
Assess and support pupils to make progress.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Liaise effectively with the Admin Team.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Collaborate with other teacher members to enhance the learning and provide performance opportunities.
Requirements
A recognised music qualification
Degree level education.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Confidence to work on your own and seek advice when needed.
Ability to engage students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience in using technology as a teaching tool is advantageous.
A commitment to continuous professional development is desirable.
