What You'll Be Doing
Teach engaging piano and violin lessons to children aged 5-11.
Focus on
music reading skills
as part of instrumental teaching.
Use creative, child-friendly methods to make learning fun and effective.
Encourage musical independence, expression, and enjoyment.
Prepare pupils for performances and in-house assessments.
Communicate clearly with school staff and families.
What We're Looking For
Confident pianist and violinist with strong musical literacy.
Experience teaching primary-aged children (ages 5-11).
Energetic, creative, and passionate about music education.
Able to manage small group or one-to-one lessons effectively.
This is a self-employed role, and you'll need to have UK work eligibility.
Enhanced DBS required
(or willingness to apply).
(Preferred) Music teaching qualification or degree.
