Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hosts /Hostess's to join our dynamic team at the Smirnoff Beach Club located in Belfast Harlequins RC.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional guest services. This role is crucial in creating a positive experience and requires excellent communication skills, as well as a passion for the hospitality industry.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest flow. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist guests with any special requests or needs, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area. Help coordinate special events or functions as required by management.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality / Events environment is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. A keen understanding of guest services and the importance of creating memorable experiences. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. A proactive approach to problem-solving and assisting guests as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 11.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
