Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team for The Smirnoff Beach Club at Belfast Harlequins.

The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar team, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that all beverages are prepared and served to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and ensuring proper storage of all products. Collaborate with catering staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe environment for both staff and customers. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
