Visual Storytelling ProducerLocation:LondonDepartment:The Times & The Sunday TimesSalary Range:Not Specified**Advertising End Date:**11 May 2025**Visual Storytelling Producer xe2x80x93 6 Month Fixed Term Contract****Your Role:**As Visual Storytelling Producer you will report to the Head of Video and provide day to day support to the News Video team as well as liaising closely with our Design team to create a range of video assets including short looping videos to sit in our 'visual storytelling' articles. These can range from one or two to enhance an article to multiple videos which walk the reader through the article using video and other accompanying visual assets.Suitable candidates should have experience in graphic design for web and editing for social video platforms.**Day to day you will:**+ Create and resize looping videos and upload to our website, app and social platforms+ Source and cut agency video to the correct technical specifications+ Apply treatments such as blurring and simple GFX as required+ Liaise with legal department for clearances+ Use Adobe Photoshop and other design software to create YouTube thumbnails for several YouTube channels.+ Attend daily meetings with senior journalists for both The Times and The Sunday Times and be proactive in suggesting ideas that will help enhance our homepage on both web and app.**What we are looking for from you:**+ Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time and work to meet demanding deadlines.+ Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate, prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment+ Experience working in a visual role for a news publisher+ Experience working with Adobe software, including Photoshop, Premiere and After EffectsApply with a covering letter and CV by May 11.If you believe you have the skills and passion to succeed, even if you don't meet every requirement on the list, we encourage you to apply.
