What you'll do
Business Development Executives (BDE) are at the heart of growing the Business market share for Vodafone UK.
Typically, the BDE role has a territory of prospects and/or low spending Enterprise customers between 100-250 organisations, these are within in the 250+ employee customer size space, but this can vary depending on the territory being covered. The role is a mix of direct sales, and also "sell with" on larger opportunities, where you will work hand-in-hand with a field Business Development Specialists / Business Development Managers.
The role will focus on finding new revenue opportunities within these high potential organisatison to hunt business not currently with Vodafone and secure this revenue away from their incumbent providers. You will be central in achieving a step change in delivering continued growth for Enterprise business and will be working customers on digital transformation & potentially complex multi-product bids. Adoption and implementation of the Vodafone Way of Selling, will be critical to success.
BDE's will engage no/low spending organisations, identifying the business challenges faced by those prospect customers and will disrupt our competitors by leveraging the Vodafone business leading portfolio. This includes Mobility, Connectivity, Cloud, Hosting, Security, Unified Communications & Internet Of Things, all of can deliver business outcomes that help these organisations meet their own goals. In doing so, this in turn grows our business revenues via these organisations joining Vodafone as new customers. Key accountabilities include:
