Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications & IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems that support our organisational needs. This role requires a strong understanding of network architecture and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure seamless communication across platforms.

Duties

Design and implement network architecture for telecommunications systems. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Provide network support for VoIP systems and ensure optimal functionality. Utilise PowerShell for automation of routine tasks and system management. Manage DNS configurations and ensure reliable domain name services. Conduct regular assessments of network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools and techniques. Familiarity with Cisco equipment and configurations is highly desirable. Experience in telecommunication technologies, including VoIP systems. Proficient in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, for automation tasks. Understanding of best practices in network architecture and design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
