Open to students aged 16-18

What's the Role?

Join the Jam Coding team this summer as a

Volunteer Camp Assistant

and gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 6-11 at our exciting and fun-filled Coding Camp!

You'll help coaches run coding activities, support outdoor games, and be a friendly face that helps children enjoy their day. It's a great way to build your skills, boost your CV, and earn a reference for future jobs or university applications.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting coaches during coding sessions and team activities Helping set up and pack down equipment and materials Engaging with children in a positive and inclusive way Being an extra pair of hands during snack, lunch and break times Encouraging teamwork, creativity and confidence in young learners

What We're Looking For:

Friendly, positive and proactive attitude Enjoy working with children and being part of a team Reliable and willing to learn Interest in tech, coding, education or youth work (no coding experience needed!) Bonus: Experience working with children, siblings or in a school/youth group setting
