We are committed to truth-telling, breaking cycles of silence, and building safer, stronger, and more resilient families and communities.
We are growing rapidly and aim to onboard over
200 volunteers

The Role - Volunteer Recruitment & HR Manager
We are seeking someone with strong people and organisational skills who can help us
find, onboard, and integrate volunteers
into our CIC so they can actively contribute to our ongoing work. You will play a vital role in building the foundation of our volunteer network and ensuring that each person is supported, connected, and able to contribute their skills effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a volunteer recruitment strategy to bring in 200+ volunteers.
Coordinate the onboarding process: applications, inductions, agreements, and training.
Create clear role descriptions and match volunteers to the right projects.
Build systems to ensure volunteers feel welcomed, supported, and plugged into activities.
Maintain volunteer records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and HR standards.
Act as the main point of contact for volunteer engagement, welfare, and retention.
Support the leadership team in cultivating a strong volunteer culture.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or volunteer coordination.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Organised, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities.
A people-focused mindset with a passion for empowering others.
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
Passion for community-led change and the mission of our CIC.

This is
100% a voluntary position
. There is no financial payment for this role. Please only apply if you are open to contributing your time and expertise voluntarily. As the CIC grows and secures funding, there may be opportunities for paid roles in the future.
