Volunteer Treasurer
Job Description
LINK Fife Mental Health Befriending Group is looking to recruit a new Volunteer Treasurer to sit on their board of trustees.
LINK provides a befriending service to vulnerable adults and young people who have become isolated and marginalized due to mental health issues.
We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering high quality services, and experience of financial controls, budgeting and grant funding.
Key Duties:
Preparing and presenting financial reports
Ensuring that appropriate accounting procedures and controls are in place
Advising on the financial implications of strategic plans
Monitoring the investment activity and ensuring its consistency with our policies and legal responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with legislation
The Board meets 10 times a year (excluding January and June).
Out of pocket expenses are available.
