Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems or manual methods Serve dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food safety and hygiene practices in line with health regulations Support food preparation tasks as needed, including setting tables and organising supplies Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Manage guest enquiries courteously, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow Handle basic maths for billing purposes and cash handling procedures

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience in serving or guest services roles demonstrating excellent communication skills Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue Basic maths skills for accurate billing and transaction processing Culinary or restaurant experience will be considered an asset but is not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: 24,420.00-37,474.38 per year
