Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during preparation and service Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods Handle guest inquiries and resolve any complaints with professionalism Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Familiarity with serving techniques and food safety practices is essential Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Excellent guest service skills, with an ability to create a friendly atmosphere
