Tamila is the brand new venture from the team behind the Tamil Prince and Tamil Crown. We bring a sharing menu full of flavours from Tamil Nadu in Southern India, banging cocktails with a spiced twist and lively, vibey atmosphere in the heart of Battersea.

We are seeking front of house staff to join our growing team in our brand new restaurant. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute significantly to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Give amazing customer service to all our guests to create a memorable dining experience. Learn our menu and be able to demonstrate excellent menu knowledge. Take accurate food and drink orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the whole restaurant, including open and closedown procedures. Handle guest enquiries with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Proactively help out in other areas of the restaurant, support your colleagues and learn different skills along the way.

Requirements

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the team.
Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
