As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and effectively managing time during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally. Process payments accurately using basic math skills. Assist in the training of new staff members when required. Maintain an organised workspace throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen roles is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
