Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfilment.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in hospitality. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Experience in serving or culinary roles is advantageous, as well as any kitchen experience that supports food preparation tasks. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere through effective communication and engagement.
