Overview

You will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to balance multiple tables effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills are required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A willingness to learn about food preparation techniques and menu items is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of service.
