We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages to guests, checking back to ensure satisfaction. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that arise. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and cleanliness in service areas. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
