We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest services, ensuring that each patron enjoys their meal and has a memorable visit. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash and process payments accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for transactions. Assist fellow team members as needed to create a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary terminology is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff.
