Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests at the Plough at Eaves and Theatre Street Grill restaurant (both located within The Plough at Eaves). The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items
- Deliver orders promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Culinary background or interest is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and guest services
