We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a genuine love for coffee and customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional guest services, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, kitchen area, and dining space to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently while upselling additional products when appropriate. Handle cash transactions and manage the till with basic math skills to ensure accurate billing. Assist in food preparation as needed, including light kitchen duties such as baking pastries or preparing snacks. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Provide outstanding guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred, showcasing an understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment. Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience are advantageous for food preparation tasks. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A willingness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is highly valued.
