We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests, providing friendly and attentive service while upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Assist in food preparation as needed, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the bar environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bartending role or within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanour and ability to help guests feel welcome. Basic maths skills for handling transactions efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A passion for the restaurant industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
