Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist in the preparation of food items as required, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns. Handle payments accurately and process transactions in accordance with restaurant policies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic maths skills for handling payments and making change. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Team player mentality with a desire to help colleagues when needed.
