We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our patrons while ensuring efficient food preparation and service.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating knowledge of the menu items. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring all orders are delivered in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues to their satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and communication throughout service.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of basic maths for handling transactions and processing payments. Knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their dining experience.
