We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused

waiter/waitress

to join our front-of-house team at The Castle Edge Hill. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests with a warm and welcoming manner Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently Serve food and beverages to tables, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Maintain a clean and well-presented dining area, including resetting tables Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service Handle customer queries or complaints professionally and promptly Upsell menu items and promotions when appropriate Process payments and handle cash/card transactions correctly Follow all health and safety and food hygiene procedures Be a positive, proactive member of the team, supporting colleagues as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, outgoing personality with a "can-do" attitude Ability to work calmly under pressure and multi-task Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Well-presented, punctual, and reliable A genuine interest in food, drink, and providing great service
