As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to proper food presentation standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary guidelines and food safety regulations. Manage multiple tables effectively while maintaining excellent time management skills. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication throughout service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils, to provide a pleasant atmosphere for guests. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and bill handling.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is an advantage. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly disposition towards customers. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in the kitchen and front of house.
