The Role



We are looking for

two Waking Night Residential Support Workers

to join a brand new therapeutic children's home. This role is ideal for those who are resilient, dependable, and passionate about safeguarding and supporting children with

Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

.

Key Responsibilities



Provide

overnight supervision and emotional support

for young people Ensure the safety and welfare of residents throughout the night Maintain accurate and timely records in line with care plans and safeguarding protocols Follow behaviour management plans, safeguarding procedures, and therapeutic routines Support morning handovers to the day team Uphold the home's values of

compassion, consistency, and respect


Essential Requirements



Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

(or equivalent) - Required*

Minimum 1 year of experience

in a children's residential care setting - Required*
Must be

registered on the DBS Update Service

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection Knowledge of basic residential childcare regulations Able to work waking night shifts on a

fixed rota basis

A calm, patient, and confident communicator
