We are a small, family-run, 2-bed residential home supporting children and young people with
emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
.As a
Waking Night Support Worker
, you will providesafety, stability, and reassurance
through the night, helping to create a secure and nurturing environment for the children in our care.Responsibilities
Ensure the
welfare and security
of children overnight. Providecalm and consistent support
, responding appropriately to incidents. Carry out regular checks andmaintain accurate records
. Follow nightly routines and care plans. Work closely with the day team to ensurecontinuity of care
.Requirements
Minimum
1 year of experience
in residential childcare or EBD settings (preferred)*.Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
or equivalent (preferred)*.Calm, empathetic, and observant, especially under pressure. Able to work independently and
remain alert
throughout the shift.Driving licence
