Waking Night Support Worker

Job Description
Select Support+ is looking for a calm, reliable individual to provide
waking?night support
for a young female. She is mostly independent but benefits from having someone present overnight who can offer reassurance, emotional support, and a consistent, steady presence.She has experienced mental health challenges in the past, so we are seeking someone who is naturally compassionate, patient, and able to create a safe, settled environment during the night.
Due to her preferences and the nature of the support,
a female applicant is preferred
.This role does not require the same level of daytime activity or community engagement as her day?time support. Instead, the focus is on
monitoring, emotional reassurance, maintaining safety
, and being available should she need support during the night.Select Support+ is a small, values?driven care provider specialising in Learning Difficulties. We pride ourselves on treating our staff with respect and offering highly competitive pay rates.
Please note: this is a self?employed position.
This role offers a consistent weekly rota of
waking?night shifts
, withthree shifts per week
, includingevery other weekend
.Shifts run
8pm-8am
, paid at16.50 per hour
