We're a small, local care provider and we're looking for dedicated
Waking Night Support Workers
to join our team. Our service includes a four-bed residential home and five supported living flats, all based on the same site and providing 24-hour care.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the people we support throughout the night, helping them feel secure and reassured while promoting independence where appropriate.
The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will focus on overnight support and monitoring. Duties may include:
Providing personal care with dignity and respect when required during the night
Supporting individuals with bedtime routines and morning preparation where needed
Carrying out regular checks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals
Offering emotional reassurance and support to individuals who may experience anxiety, distress, or disrupted sleep
Responding appropriately to night-time needs, incidents, or emergencies in line with care plans and policies
Providing positive behavioural support, following individual behaviour support plans and using calm, person-centred approaches
Supporting with medication administration when required and maintaining accurate records
Completing night-time cleaning, laundry, and light domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
Recording clear and accurate night reports, handovers, and any incidents or concerns
Working closely with day staff, management, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care

You'll work every other weekend, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

Previous care experience is helpful but not essential --
