About the home:

Nestled in the tranquil hamlet of Woodhouses, Staffordshire, Yew Tree House is a beautifully designed, three-bedroom children's home that provides a warm and nurturing environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our first home, Yew Tree House, stands as a testament to the careful thought and consideration that went into its design and build, ensuring a space where young individuals can feel both safe and at ease.

The home boasts a charming country cottage and farmhouse-inspired aesthetic, with exposed brickwork and beams in the spacious living area, creating a cosy yet expansive atmosphere. The large kitchen is perfect for communal cooking and learning, while an additional snug upstairs offers a quiet space for reflection or relaxation.

Each of our young people is provided with their own well-sized bedroom, designed to foster a sense of privacy and ownership. Equipped with a desk for private study, the rooms allow young people to express their personalities and preferences through decoration, ensuring their space is truly their own.

At Yew Tree House, we believe in the importance of balance--offering both a quiet haven for introspection and a lively space for outdoor play. Our large conservatory is an ideal place to unwind and reflect, while the generous garden invites young people to engage with nature. Whether relaxing by the firepit, swinging, bouncing on the trampoline, or spending time with our friendly chickens and resident cat, there's always something to enjoy in the open air.

Yew Tree House is not just a home; it is a space designed with care, where young people can thrive and grow in a supportive and homely environment. If you are looking to join a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, we invite you to be a part of the Yew Tree House family.
