Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing care to individuals in residential home, nursing homes, and home care environments. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to support clients with specific needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or manager. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or similar environments is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs. A caring attitude towards individuals requiring support and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life. Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
