Waking Night Support Workers - Care Home - 12.97 x 2 posts available

35hour per week contract

2 week rolling rota 10pm-8am (wk1 4on, wk2 3on)

Dumfries and Galloway Mental Health Association is an
established in 1988, providing care and support for adults across
Dumfries and Galloway with a diagnosed mental health condition. We are a Regional Scottish Charity with a strong vision and drive to deliver excellence in care support provision.

We are looking for a full time Waking Night Support Workers to join our established team providing support for up to ten adults living in a Registered Care Home. You'll play a vital role
in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our residents during the night, while
supporting their individual needs with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emotional and practical support to residents throughout the night Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond promptly to any distress or emergencies Carry out regular checks and record-keeping in line with care plans and policies Maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment overnight Collaborate with day staff to ensure smooth handovers and consistent care Accurately complete night logs, incident reports, and documentation Perform manual handling techniques, following training and guidelines
You will have previous experience in social care and a relevant qualification; we will in return invest and commit
to fully specialist training for the right candidate.

You will work for a Charity that puts adult wellbeing and

We are committed to safer care for adults receiving our
services, as such we will be using a demanding and rigorous selection process
to fill this post including a Screening Interview, Panel Interview, Service
User involvement and full Disclosure Scotland PVG check. References will be
taken after successful Screening Interview.
