Job Summary
The Warden plays a critical role in maintaining safety and security within Ballymena Town. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing loss prevention strategies. The Warden will work closely with staff and law enforcement agencies to promote a secure environment for all individuals.
Duties
Monitor and supervise all activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Implement and manage loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks.
Provide first aid assistance as necessary, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during emergencies.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Prepare reports on incidents, security breaches, and operational issues for management review.
Experience
Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred.
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems is advantageous.
Certification in first aid or equivalent training is desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and external agencies.
The Warden position requires a proactive individual who is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment while demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
