Warehouse Administrator

to join our Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Line Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of operational administrative functions within a multi-temperature warehouse environment ensuring excellent service to our customers and comprehensive support to the wider operational team.

You will primarily be responsible for supporting the warehouse operations team with administrative support, ensuring that processes are accurately fulfilled, documentation is managed, system routines are executed, whilst data is collected and reported as required.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



Support Warehouse Line Managers with documentation control and system process fulfilment. Check and input data obtained from all Warehouse attendance system or clock cards. Weekly reports for Warehouse functions capturing essential key performance indicators to include departmental labour expenditure and productivity figures. Generate and maintain statistics relevant to supply chain operations to produce concise reports, identifying trends in absence, costs, volumes, Health & Safety incidents etc. Supporting disciplinary processes across the supply chain throughout various stages. Control of all PPE expenditure and allocation for the Warehouse personnel. Any project work assigned by the management team. Carry out any other reasonable management instructions to the expected standards which ultimately support the business. Undertake other duties within the warehouse to function as required. Supporting the induction and training functions.

The successful candidate will have / be:



Excellent organisational and administration skills with the ability to solve problems in a fast-moving environment. Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and / or stock management and WMS systems. The ability to proactively identify and solve problems through their own initiative and by communicating with others. Knowledge of distribution operational systems and knowledge of specific processes in relation to Health and Safety and HACCP etc. Strong communication skills, good email etiquette, and the ability to interact appropriately with all stakeholders internally and externally. Experience within an office environment, ideally associated within a warehouse or logistics organisation. The ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight timescales whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. An understanding of Business Central. Experience in a similar type of role or in a position that demonstrates the skills above is desirable.
The ideal candidate should be a team player and have the ability to deliver in line with Company deadlines. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative, be self-motivated, and have a consistent work methodology.
